Roster news: Jets sign RB Blackshear to practice squad

The Jets have made a minor move ahead of the season finale.

We've signed RB Raheem Blackshear to the practice squad

The 27-year old Blackshear has mostly been a return specialist in his career so far but has started two games, rushed for three touchdowns and caught 16 passes. The Jets are his fifth pro team.

At this stage of the season any additions will often be with a view to next year but in this case the Jets may be shorthanded with both Breece Hall and Isaiah Davis having been injured on Sunday.
