The 6'1" Adams has 4.44 speed and is best known for some of the big plays he made during preseason with Justin Fields at the helm. He ended up with 10 catches for 161 yards and a touchdown in three games. The former fifth round pick also caught two touchdown passes in preseason in his rookie year (2017) but has only ever played in one regular season game. He had retired in 2018 but then made his comeback in 2020.
It's interesting to note that Cager is switching to tight end. That's something we've felt might be a possibility for some time, as Cager is 6'5" and shows potential as a blocker. Perhaps he could be the next Darren Waller.
