Roster News: Jets sign WR Skinner to replace injured WR Walthall
The Jets have made their first roster move of camp:
We've signed WR Quincy Skinner and waived/injured WR Jalen Walthall

Skinner is not to be confused with Quentin Skinner, whom the Jets released from injured reserve earlier this month (and he was picked up by the Bills).
The 23-year old was undrafted out of Vanderbilt last year and is 6'1" with mediocre athletic numbers. His college production was also modest with his best season in 2024 seeing him catch 29 passes for 367 yards and three scores. He caught three passes in preseason last year with Atlanta.
Walthall didn't get much of a chance to make an impression having been a late addition during OTAs. He will revert to injured reserve.
