Roster News: Jets to re-sign Dan Feeney, bring back ERFAs

The Jets' first move of day three - or is it day one? - is to bring back one of their pending free agents:

This makes sense because the Jets need an established back-up at center right now. Feeney's ability to also play guard came in handy down the stretch last season.

The Jets also reportedly - and predictably - are retaining exclusive rights free agents Tim Ward, Jeff Smith and Javelin Guidry. They will play out the 2022 season on minimum salary deals.

The other exclusive rights free agent is safety Elijah Riley and Newsday reported a few days ago that he is coming back too.

We should also get some clarity on what the Jets are doing with quarterback Mike White today. The restricted free agent is expected to get an original round tender worth about $2.5 million.
