Roster News: Jets to sign Albert McClellan

The Jets wasted no time in addressing the loss of Avery Williamson by adding some veteran depth at the position:

McClellan, who is 33 and would have connections to a few of the Jets' front office staff including Joe Douglas from his days with the Ravens, has started 24 games in his NFL career, but only one since 2016. He tore his ACL in 2017 and then played almost exclusively on special teams last year.

He's not an immediate starter-level replacement for Williamson but does give the team someone with experience and another option to give them depth.
