Roster News: Jets to sign kicker Pineiro

Much to nobody's surprise:

One day after their kicker missed two extra points, the Jets now are signing veteran kicker Eddy Pineiro to their active roster, per his agent @DrewJRosenhaus.

Pineiro has a pretty good record at the NFL level, with 23 of 28 made field goals for the Bears in 2019, including two game-winners. However, he missed the 2018 and 2020 seasons due to injury.
