Roster News: Justin Hardee placed on Covid-19 reserve

It looks like the Jets are losing one of their most consistent contributors for a while:

The timing of this is frustrating because the struggling Braden Mann just had his best game of the season, aided by some good plays by Hardee, who is the special teams captain. In addition, the Jets are already without their other starting gunner because Jeff Smith is also on Covid-19 reserve.

Vyncint Smith and someone like Rachad Wildgoose could get the work in this role on Sunday if Hardee and Smith aren't activated.

In more encouraging news, Robert Saleh said the Jets expect to activate Tyler Kroft, Ace Carter and Bryce Huff from injured reserve this week and also expect to get Deuce Carter and Tevin Coleman back. In addition, they expect to have Quinnen Williams available despite his shoulder injury in the Saints game.
