Roster News: Nasirildeen placed on injured reserve

The Jets made a couple of roster moves to start the week:

Nasirildeen wasn't part of the defensive rotation on Sunday but was still in a full-time role on special teams. With him gone, the Jets could elevate Noah Dawkins from the practice squad unless Blake Cashman or Jarrad Davis is ready to come off injured reserve. Nasirildeen apparently has a knee injury but it's not an ACL tear so he could be back before the season is over.

Williams has been up and down all season and now finds himself back on the 53, but will probably be back on the practice squad once Mekhi Becton or Conor McDermott is healthy.

The Jets also made some practice squad moves. Running back Josh Adams opted not to re-sign so the Jets brought back Austin Walter who was with the team in preseason and released tackle Elijah Nkansah.
