Roster News: Omar Cooper activated for practice

The first injury report of Pats week is out:

Cooper has been activated for practice, as has AJ Brown of the Patriots. Today was a walkthrough, though. There is still no Parham, Hall or Mitchell, frustratingly, and Ossai is apparently week-to-week now as well, after being in and out of the lineup on Sunday.

It looks like Sadiq is on a similar timeline to Jarvis Brownlee last week and Brownlee did play after a concussion the previous Sunday, so hopefully we don't need to rule him out yet.

Mauigoa being back and the Ossai injury may explain this roster move from last night:

Reeder has already been re-signed to the practice squad, although he was already elevated from there a few times. They may not need him as much with Mauigoa now back and Trevin Wallace having done well on special teams last week, although Marcelino McCrary-Ball's return date is still uncertain.

Bell gives the Jets some more experienced depth with Ossai having been banged up on Sunday, although he practiced today. The 30-year old journeyman is now on his seventh NFL team having been a seventh round pick in 2019. He has started three games and recorded 38 tackles and a sack in his career.
