Roster News: Rashard Robinson activated; JJ Wilcox released

Rashard Robinson's roster exemption expired today so it was decision time:

The fact that the Jets could be without Trumaine Johnson and/or Buster Skrine on Sunday might be a factor in this decision, although the Jets are reportedly still quite high on Robinson, who had some good moments in preseason. He was a non-factor last year, after the Jets acquired him for a pick before the trade deadline.

Wilcox was never going to be a big contributor on defense this year and played just 25 snaps in the first five games. He had three tackles.

The Jets could potentially get Rontez Miles back after next week's game, at which point at least one of their eight cornerbacks will probably be released.
