The Forgotten Jets: Will any of these 10 ever get into an NFL game again?

A few days ago, we looked at 10 non-rookie Jets who have yet to make their NFL debut. However, there's also 10 players who have played in the NFL but only briefly. Again, most of these are longshots to make the Jets roster in 2019.

Will any of them ever get to play another NFL game - let alone this year with the Jets?

Let's assess them, in no particular order...

  • JJ Jones, Wide Receiver

Jones, who was an undrafted rookie last year, played in the first three games of the season as the Chargers punt and kickoff returner, returning three kickoffs for 69 yards and five punts for 24 yards. He had two fumbles though. He made a fourth appearance with the Jets in the season finale, catching his first NFL pass for a short gain despite only playing two offensive snaps.

Key stat: In preseason, Jones averaged 23 yards per kickoff return and also returned seven punts for 88 yards and a touchdown. He only caught one pass for seven yards.

  • Jeremy Clark, Defensive Back

Clark, a former sixth round pick, has played in two NFL games, at the end of each of his two seasons. He didn't see any action on defense and had one penalty in limited special teams action.

Key stat: Clark has only played in one preseason game, during which he did not record any stats.

  • Foley Fatukasi, Defensive Lineman

Fatukasi, another former sixth round pick, was active for just one game in his rookie year. In that game, he played just three defensive snaps including one where he got driven off the line on a big run.

Key stat: In four preseason games, Fatukasi had five tackles, a sack and a forced fumble.

  • Tim White, Wide Receiver

White, who was undrafted in 2017, played in three games for the Ravens last season, mostly in a return specialist role. He averaged 22.5 yards per kickoff return and 8.3 yards per punt return, but had one fumble. On offense, he caught one pass for 14 yards.

Key stat: In five preseason games, White had caught six passes for 129 yards and a touchdown. He's averaged 17 yards per kickoff return and eight yards per punt return.

  • Derrick Jones, Cornerback

Jones played in three games in a special teams role in 2017, but saw his first action on defense in last year's season finale, during which he gave up 18 yards on four targets. Overall, he has three tackles in four games.

Key stat: In eight preseason games, Jones has racked up 12 tackles, three passes defensed and two interceptions.

  • Ben Braden, Offensive Lineman

After almost two years on the practice squad, the undrafted Braden played in the last two games of last season, albeit only as a blocker on the placekicking unit. In all, he played just eight snaps.

Key stat: In eight preseason games, including one start, Braden has played 215 snaps with zero penalties. However, he's given up three sacks and eight total pressures playing a mixture of guard and tackle.

  • Harvey Langi, Linebacker

Langi made New England's roster as an undrafted rookie in 2017 but was only active once in the first five games before suffering season-ending injuries in a car accident. Injuries in preseason prevented him from making it back onto a roster last year. He played just six defensive snaps in his only appearance, but was in on a couple of special teams stops.

Key stat: In four preseason games in 2017, Langi recorded 12 tackles and six pressures.

  • Quadree Henderson, Wide Receiver

After being released by the Steelers, Henderson - an undrafted rookie - ended up with the Giants last year and played five games for them as a return specialist, returning five kickoffs for 112 yards and nine punts for 68 yards. He did not play any offensive snaps.

Key stat: In preseason action with the Steelers, he caught three passes for 36 yards and a touchdown and returned three kickoffs for 73 yards and two punts for 14 yards.

  • Anthony Wint, Linebacker

As an undrafted rookie, Wint was activated for the last two games last season. He made an impact on special teams with a big hit to force a fumble. He didn't get any defensive snaps though.

Key stat: In preseason action, Wint had 12 tackles and a couple of pressures in 12 games.

  • Bronson Kaufusi, Defensive Lineman

Finally, Kaufusi - a third-round pick in 2016 - has played in six career games, including three with the Jets last year. He didn't record a tackle, but had a couple of pressures and batted down a pass. With the Ravens, he had spent 2016 on injured reserve and played in three games with one start in 2017, recording five tackles.

Key stat: In nine preseason games, Kaufusi has made two starts and racked up 18 tackles, two sacks, 16 total pressures, a pass defensed and an interception.
