The Jets dropped a bomb on the Browns

It might have been a tortuous experience (I literally cannot wait to read the gamethread) but the Jets pulled out a tough win over the Browns on Sunday, by 17 points to 12.

Yeah, they got super lucky with the late bad snap, but the Jets finally closed out a close game and there was a lot to like:

  • 100 yard games for Braelon Allen and Garrett Wilson;
  • Eight sacks, including a hat-trick for the much maligned David Bailey;
  • An improbable 54-yard Jason Sanders field goal in the rain; and
  • Overcoming some abjectly terrible officiating and weather to pull out a win over a 3-1 team that has proven to be tough in close games.

After everyone told us we're not allowed to celebrate moral victories during our recent losses, you can be damn sure we're gonna enjoy this one.

This calls for a celebration!

Take it away, bedazzled Calvin Pace...

We'll be breaking down the game in great detail, starting bright and early tomorrow, so make sure you keep checking in early and often.
