The Jets dropped a bomb on the Giants

The Jets showed no mercy today, racking up six sacks and completely shutting down the Giants' running game to hand their cross-town rivals their sixth loss in a row.

Sam Darnold played well during the early, scripted, portion of the game, but once again struggled thereafter. However, he made some nice plays down the stretch and the Jets, having blown an early 14-0 lead, hung on to win 31-27. Le'Veon Bell's touchdown run early in the fourth quarter proved to be the decisive score.

Darnold passed for one score and ran for another, but the play of the game was definitely Jamal Adams' touchdown which saw him rip the ball away from Daniel Jones and run it in.

Adams and Jordan Jenkins had two sacks each to pace a Jets defense that held Saquon Barkley to ONE yard on 13 carries. Wow.

This calls for a celebration!

Take it away, bedazzled Calvin Pace...

We'll be breaking down the game in great detail, starting bright and early tomorrow, so make sure you keep checking in early and often.
