Training Camp Practice Recap: 8/25/26

Training camp wrapped up today with media on hand for the Jets' practice. Here's what went down according to those on hand:

  • Isaiah Davis was back on the side field working with trainers, along with Breece Hall, Kenyon Sadiq and D'Angelo Ponds;
  • In 7-on-7 action, Mason Taylor went up and over Minkah Fitzpatrick for a leaping catch from Geno Smith;
  • Arian Smith had a couple of early catches, including a 20-yarder down the middle;
  • David Bailey blew up a play by staying at home as he made a good read on a naked bootleg;
  • Smith drove the Jets for a score in a move-the-ball period, completing all four of his pass attempts, including two to Omar Cooper;
  • The defense hit back on the next series as Kingsley Enagbare had three tackles for loss in a row, including two sacks;
  • Andre Cisco broke up a pass intended for Cooper in the end zone;
  • Jason Brownlee dropped a possible interception on a Smith pass;
  • Smith led another scoring drive, highlighted by a deep ball to Adonai Mitchell with Brandon Stephens covering and a touchdown to Braelon Allen lofted over Will McDonald;
  • Nate Lynn had a sack of Cade Klubnik, one of six with Klubnik at quarterback;
  • Smith ended up 16-for-19 with five completions each to Mitchell and Garrett Wilson;
  • Klubnik ended up 8-for-13; and
  • Dylan Parham sat out the final two series on offense.
