Your Jet-free Sunday early games thread

With the Jets not playing until Monday night, we can enjoy today's action from around the NFL.

Here's what to watch out for in the early games:

  • San Francisco at Cincinnati

The Bengals need a win here to avoid dropping to 0-2. The 49ers had two pick-sixes but also threw one in their opening day win over the Bucs.

  • LA Chargers at Detroit

Both teams went to overtime last week with the Lions blowing a big lead in the second half and the Chargers winning on an Austin Ekeler touchdown.

  • Minnesota at Green Bay

The Packers have had a long week to prepare following their Thursday night win over the Bears. Minnesota looked good in their win over the Falcons, taking a 28-0 lead into the fourth quarter before taking their foot off the gas.

  • Indianapolis at Tennessee

Tennessee's blowout win over the Browns was one of the big surprises of week one, but perhaps the Titans are for real. They could move to 2-0 here as they face a team that lost their opener in overtime.

  • New England at Miami

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

  • Buffalo at NY Giants

The Giants were outplayed in their opening day loss to Dallas, but then again the Bills were arguably outplayed for three quarters by the Jets too. This could be an interesting one.

  • Seattle at Pittsburgh

The Steelers laid an egg in week one and they need more from James Conner, Juju Smith-Schuster and James Washington if they're going to prove those fans who believe they don't need Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown correct. Seattle's one-point win over the Bengals gives them a chance to go to 2-0.

  • Dallas at Washington

The NFC East is already taking shape as Dallas easily beat the Giants in week one but Washington blew a 20-7 halftime lead against the Eagles. Washington will be looking to avoid dropping to 0-2 having started last year 6-3.

  • Arizona at Baltimore

After their huge win over Miami in week one, the Ravens are a big favorite for this one. However, it will be interesting to see how Kyler Murray performs after leading a late comeback last week.

  • Jacksonville at Houston

Houston is a big favorite after the Jaguars lost Nick Foles to injury last week. Rookie Gardner Minshew unexpectedly played well in relief, though. The Texans almost won in New Orleans, losing on a last second field goal.
