Your Jet-free Sunday late games thread

With the Jets having already played, we can enjoy today's action from around the NFL.

Here's what to watch out for in the late games:

  • Jacksonville at Oakland

One of these teams is going to break a losing streak here. Oakland, who is still mathematically alive for a wild card, was 6-4 but are now 6-7. Jacksonville were 4-4 but are not 4-9.

  • Cleveland at Arizona

The Browns are also 6-7 so not necessarily out of the postseason yet. They'll need a win over the 3-9-1 Cardinals to stay alive for at least another week.

  • Minnesota at San Diego

The Vikings are a game behind Green Bay but a good bet for a wild card. The 5-8 Chargers won last week and are looking a different proposition with Derwin James back.

  • Atlanta at San Francisco

The 49ers are seeking home field advantage throughout the playoffs, but the Packers and Saints are lurking if they slip up. It shouldn't happen against the 4-9 Falcons.

  • Rams at Cowboys

The Cowboys are only 6-7 but tied for the division lead. However, the Rams have bounced back well from their blowout loss to the Ravens and looked good over the past two games. At 8-5 they could be a tough opponent if they sneak into the postseason.

  • Bills at Steelers (Sunday Night Football)

The Bills have nine wins but won't secure a wild card here, even if they win. It's looking likely the Jets will get a chance to play spoiler in the final game of the year. The Steelers face the Jets next week, so it will be interesting to see how they fare too.
