Breaking: Jets sign Weaver

The Jets have made another move, signing a player who was cut last year before free agency gets properly underway in a few hours:

The #Jets agreed to terms with edge Rashad Weaver on a one-year contract, per source.

A fourth-round pick by the #Titans in 2021, Weaver has appeared in 36 career games and had 5.5 sacks in 2022.

The 27-year old is listed at 6'4" and 259, bringing some special teams abilities to the table. After that promising 2022 season, he fell out of favor and ended up back in a reserve role. He barely played last season.
