Breaking: Jets to sign CB Trumaine Johnson

Trumaine was viewed by many as the top cornerback on the market and will fill a massive need for the Jets. After two years of having been franchised, he won't be cheap - Malcolm Butler signed for $12.2 million a year earlier - but the 28-year old gives the Jets a viable number one cornerback.

Johnson, who was coached by Jets secondary coach Dennard Wilson in the past, has 18 interceptions and 67 passes defensed in six NFL seasons.
