Breaking: Jets to sign Teddy Bridgewater

As we noted earlier, the Jets were negotiating with Teddy Bridgewater and, despite also signing Josh McCown and a last ditch attempt from the Bills to get in on the action, that's now been done:

Former Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater plans to sign a one-year contract with the New York Jets when the new league year officially begins Wednesday, per @mortreport and @diannaESPN.

As we noted earlier, the 25-year old Bridgewater has only thrown two passes since a horrendous knee injury at the start of the 2016 season. He had thrown for 28 touchdowns and 21 interceptions in his first two seasons after being selected with the 32nd overall pick in 2014.
