Breaking: Ryan Kalil comes out of retirement to join the Jets

Over the past few weeks, the Jets have been in negotiations with a former pro bowl center. It looks like they finally came to an agreement:

Kalil is 34 and Panthers fans were NOT expecting him to come back. However, the Jets were able to convince him to make the jump. Clearly the team feels more confident in a guy with experience and whatever they've been saying about Jonotthan Harrison, they never stopped looking for alternatives.

Kalil - whose last pro bowl appearance was in 2015 - didn't grade out as well as in the past over the last two seasons, but was still about average. He started every game in 2018 before retiring at the end of the season.
