Buzz: Jets looking into trading for Khalil Mack

As some of you may have guessed from the hints we've been dropping all day, something is rumbling in connection with former defensive player of the year Khalil Mack. At last the toothpaste is out of the tube:

From what we've heard, the Jets would be looking to extend Mack long-term if they can encourage the Raiders to move him. While the Jets don't have their second round pick next year, they might be set to add some draft collateral if they can trade veterans such as Teddy Bridgewater. They also have a ton of 2019 cap room available to fill holes even if they sign and extend Mack, who is said to be seeking $20 million per year.

In a JetsFix poll, 44% of you were willing to give up more than a first rounder to get Mack. However, with the relationship with Oakland falling apart, maybe the cost won't reach those levels.
