Camp Recap: Day 24

The Jets were on the field for their penultimate camp practice this afternoon. Here were some of the main things that happened, as reported by media on site:

Trenton Cannon returned to practice today but Lucky Whitehead missed practice;
Sam Darnold was working with Jeremy Bates over at the side while Josh McCown and Teddy Bridgewater shared scout team offense duties;
Steve McLendon, Jonah Trinnaman and Jeremy Clark were working over at the side with trainers, but Kelvin Beachum took on a bigger role, although he still rotated with Brent Qvale in team periods;
Darnold got most of the first-team reps in the gameplan portion of practice again;
On defense, Doug Middleton had a nice pass break-up and Darron Lee had a pick-six, both against Bridgewater;
Bridgewater bounced back from the pick-six with a tight window throw to Charles Johnson;
Terrelle Pryor caught a downfield pass from Bridgewater and a back shoulder throw from Darnold in team periods;
Chad Hansen caught another deep ball, this time from Bridgewater; and
After practice, Todd Bowles confirmed that tight ends Jordan Leggett and Chris Herndon will both play on Friday, but that Pryor, Marcus Maye and Quincy Enunwa will be game time decisions and Beachum will likely be rested.
