Injury News: McGovern to miss the last two games with knee injury

The Jets will be without Connor McGovern after the center's fourth quarter knee injury in yesterday's win was diagnosed as an MCL injury. He will be assessed to see whether surgery is needed but will definitely miss the last two games.

Dan Feeney will presumably start the last two games at center after doing well at left guard on Sunday. The Jets should hopefully have one or both of their starting guards back for that one.

Tight end Trevon Wesco also suffered a knee injury and looks set to miss time. Presumably he will be out for the last two games as well.

There should be reinforcements on the way for Sunday's game against the Bucs. Safety Elijah Riley is expected back from concussion protocol and the Jets will also get some of their Covid-19 reserve-listed players returning. Robert Saleh mentioned John Franklin-Myers and Foley Fatukasi as two players expected back this week.

Second-year tackle Mekhi Becton, however, is not expected back this season.
