Jets select Michigan CB Jeremy Clark with the 197th pick

With their penultimate pick, the Jets selected Michigan cornerback Jeremy Clark.

Clark is currently recovering from an ACL tear, which might mean this is a player that will be stashed on the injury list. After converting from safety to cornerback last year, Clark was off to a really good start, but then suffered the injury in the fourth game of the year.

At 6'3" 220, he has the size and length to potentially develop into a physical pro-style cornerback. However, his experience at free safety could prove useful as well, especially if his athleticism is compromised because of the injury.

Barring any trades, the Jets have one more pick, at number 204.

Analysis to follow tomorrow, but for now, let's hear your take on this pick. Stay in the official thread to discuss the ongoing events in the draft.
