Nuggets from Thursday's mini-camp practice

Today's practice was earlier and, as anticipated, much shorter than the previous ones. The team now heads of on vacation to reconvene for training camp at the end of July.

Some brief notes:

• Josh McCown sat out team periods.
• Christian Hackenberg had some success in red zone work, finding Deshon Foxx and Jason Vander Laan for touchdowns.
• However, he was inconsistent overall, with Darryl Roberts intercepting him on a forced back shoulder throw and Corey White dropping another potential interception.
• Bryce Petty wrapped things up with a touchdown pass to rookie tight end Jordan Leggett.
• Once again, Jamal Adams impressed the assembled media and the pass rush notched a few sacks.
