Postgame: Jets 31 Eagles 31

Due to inclement weather, the Jets abandoned the plan to give their starters a few series to prepare for the season opener and a lot of the players who will contribute in 2021 were rested. However, there was still plenty to evaluate in respect of those who did play.

The most concerning aspect was new starting linebacker Jamien Sherwood, who struggled against the Eagles reserves with a couple of bad missed tackles. Also, rookie cornerback Brandin Echols suffered a shoulder injury.

The Jets ran the ball effectively and the game went down to the wire with the Jets' attempt to drive for a game-winning field goal ruined when Daniel Brown's fumble was returned for a touchdown.

However, the Jets came up with a miracle on James Morgan's 50-yard Hail Mary to Kenny Yeboah as time expired, giving them a chance to tie the game with a two-point conversion. Josh Adams gave a great effort to get into the end zone on the run up the middle, so the Jets finish preseason with a 2-0-1 record.

We'll be here all day tomorrow to break the game down in detail, starting bright and early...
