Roster News: Jets to sign Randall Cobb

This was a widely-expected deal but we now have confirmation:

Cobb will reunite here with Aaron Rodgers after the pair played most of their careers together. While Cobb is past his prime at 32 and hasn't had a thousand-yard season or been a pro bowler in almost a decade, he will be a useful depth piece with the Jets and had a couple of really good games last year when called upon.

This move should bring leadership to the Jets giving them someone who could contribute out of the slot and an option to return punts, but won't create an issue if he has to split time with younger players.
