Roster News: Jets add three to practice squad

The Jets have restocked the open spots on their practice squad to begin the week:

Hager is a 28-year old former seventh round pick who started four games last year for the Rams before suffering a season ending shoulder injury. Other than that, he has had just one start in his career but has recorded 48 tackles, four quarterback hits, three passes defensed and a forced fumble. He has played in a Gregg Williams defense before but his main value is probably on special teams where he had 25 tackles in his first four years.

Dawkins is a 23-year old who was an undrafted rookie last season. He played 10 games with the Bucs last year, but didn't record any stats and only played five defensive snaps. However, he played extensively on special teams where he had two penalties. He had four tackles in four games in preseason for the Bengals last year.

Hance is a 24-year old tackle who was also an undrafted rookie last year but has yet to make his NFL debut. He played at both tackle positions with Washington in preseason last year and graded out well as he gave up just one pressure and had one penalty in four games. He has also spent time with the Bills and Jaguars.
