Roster News: Jets announce final cuts

The Jets have announced their final cuts (with the possibility of more tweaks to come in the days ahead, of course).

Here are the updated charts showing the final reckoning:

Things to note:

The depth chart was lifted from the latest version on the Jets official site and may not reflect reality.

The color coding is as follows:
Green = Players that made the team (for now)
Red = Players that have been cut
Purple = IR or PUP (see below)
Blue = traded

Note: Baron is on PUP, Cooper and Payne are on IR designated for return, Hulstein, Curtis and Richardson were waived-injured and the rest are on season-ending IR.

Not reflected in the charts:

As expected, the kicker (Jason Sanders), punter (Austin McNamara) and long snapper (Thomas Hennessy) were not cut.

Also, the depth chart does not include offensive lineman Jordan Meredith, who was acquired by trade.
