The Jets clearly plan to transition to some younger players over the next few months, so we could see several moves like this one:
#Jets are releasing CB Pierre Desir, source says. He goes on waivers.— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) November 17, 2020
The Jets could make a cap saving of over $1 million to roll over to next year if anyone claims Desir off waivers.
Rookie Bryce Hall was rotating with Desir at left cornerback in the New England game so he'll probably start for the rest of the year. Desir had 47 tackles and three interceptions in nine games with the team.
