Roster News: Jets sign Samia to practice squad, release Redwine

The Jets made a minor move:

Redwine ended up in a full-time role when Lamarcus Joyner got injured less than 10 snaps into the season, but lost that role before the end of the first game when Robby Anderson blew by him for a vital touchdown and never played another defensive snap.

Samia, a former fourth round pick, made the first four starts of his NFL career at right guard with the Vikings last season, but struggled with four penalties and three sacks surrendered.
