Roster News: Jets to release Dalvin Cook

The Jets are cutting their losses on a really bad signing:

Four-time Pro Bowl RB Dalvin Cook and the #Jets have mutually agreed to part ways, allowing Cook the opportunity to play for a playoff team, per his agency @LAASportsEnt.

Cook didn't even see the field in Sunday's game, so there's really no point in keeping him on the roster and this move probably should have been made ages ago.

It will be interesting to see if anyone else is released in this way ahead of Sunday.
