The Jets have signed another player and this time it's actually not an offensive lineman:
Jets signed former Rams’ DB Marqui Christian, per source. He’s likely to be Jets third safety.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 21, 2020
Christian is a 25-year old former fifth-round pick. He played in 55 games over the past four years with the Rams and made the first start of his career last season. He has 83 tackles and three passes defensed while playing a versatile role on defense. He's also a special teams contributor with 11 career tackles in kick coverage. That was his primary role in his first two seasons.
The one-year deal is reportedly worth $1.25 million but can potentially rise to $2 million with incentives.
